Privacy Policy for Nimori

Nimori (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) is a children's audio-storytelling app. We take the privacy of children and families seriously. This policy explains what information the app does and does not handle. Because Nimori is directed to children, we comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families policy.

The short version

• We do not ask children to create an account, sign in, or enter any personal information.
• We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, photos, or contacts.
• Your child's listening progress is stored only on the device and is never sent to us.
• We show a limited number of child-directed, non-personalized ads through Google AdMob to keep the app free.

Information we do not collect

Nimori has no login, no user profiles, and no forms. We do not knowingly collect or store any personal information from children or adults, including names, email addresses, precise location, photos, microphone input, or contacts.

Information stored on the device only

To remember which stories a child has finished, saved, or unlocked, the app saves this progress locally on the device (using standard on-device storage). This information stays on the device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed if the app is uninstalled.

Story content delivery

Stories (audio, images, and text) are streamed from our content host (Supabase). When the app requests a story, the host receives standard technical request data (such as the device's IP address) as part of normal internet delivery. This data is used only to deliver the content and is not used to identify or profile the child.

Advertising

To keep Nimori free, the app displays a limited number of rewarded video ads served by Google AdMob. Because the app is directed to children:

• Ads are requested in child-directed mode.
• We request non-personalized ads only.
• Ad content is limited to a child-appropriate (G) maximum content rating.

Google may process a limited amount of data to serve, cap, and measure these ads in a manner consistent with policies for child-directed services. Google's practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy and the AdMob child-directed ad information.

No third-party analytics

Nimori does not include third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Data security

We do not maintain accounts or personal data, which minimizes risk. Content is delivered over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, within the app listing.
